The consultant who will perform your procedure is named in your quote, meets you on video before any deposit, and holds a registration number you can verify. That is not a courtesy — it is the single most reliable test of whether a facilitator is worth using.
How to check a surgeon yourself
- 01
Ask for the full name and registration number
Every practising doctor in Türkiye holds a diploma number and is registered with the Turkish Medical Association. If a clinic will not give you one, that is your answer.
- 02
Confirm they perform the procedure themselves
In hair restoration especially, extraction and implantation are legally allowed to be delegated. Ask which steps the surgeon personally performs and get it in writing.
- 03
Check the specialty matches
A general practitioner can legally run a hair clinic. A dermatologist or plastic surgeon with hair restoration training is a different proposition.
- 04
Ask how many of your specific case they do
Volume in the exact procedure you need matters more than years qualified. Beard work, female diffuse cases and revisions are all specialisms in themselves.
