We have walked every facility on this page. We have seen the sterilisation room, met the ward staff and slept in the hotel. Nothing is listed here on the strength of a brochure or a commission rate, and any partner that slips is dropped — there is no exclusivity agreement that outranks a patient.
What a facility has to satisfy before we use it

Licensed and accredited
A current Ministry of Health licence for the procedures performed, and international accreditation where the facility claims it. We ask for the certificate, not the logo.

The surgeon operates
Written confirmation of which steps the named consultant performs personally, and which are delegated to trained technicians.
- 03
Emergency capability on site
Resuscitation equipment, an anaesthetist on the premises during sedation cases, and a transfer agreement with a full hospital.

An in-house laboratory, for dental
Milling and glazing under the same roof. Outsourced labs mean two-week waits, longer trips and no ability to remake on the day.

English-speaking clinical staff
Not just at reception. You should be able to ask the nurse a question at eleven at night and be understood.

Hotels within fifteen minutes
Proximity to the clinic beats star rating every time. After a seven-hour procedure you do not want a forty-minute drive across Istanbul.
